Purchase/Installing New SSL Using WP Engine

In order to purchase and install a new SSL:
  • Go Daddy or WP Engine
  • Site Server
  • Domains registrar

To purchase and install a new SSL using WP Engine follow these steps:

  1. Go to my.wpengine.com
  2. Enter username and password. Obtain from IT
  3. Locate the site install (alphabetical order)
  4. Click the ∨ on the site install's right hand side.
  5. Select SSL.
  6. Click buy ssl certificate.
  7. Select appropriate SSL type
    • Standard ssl = one subdomain/domain URL or
    • Wildcard SSL = multiple subdomains/domain URL's
  8. select agree to terms & conditions 
  9. The SSL installation can take up to 24 hours to be completed.
