Configure Payment Methods

Refer to the client New Site Information Form for payment gateways and methods to be configured.

Payment Gateway

Shopify "wraps" Stripe into Shopify Payments. While we will activate Stripe at Launch, for now, we will, for now, simple configure a "Test Gateway" for test mode, as it will simulate credit card payments for now.

1. Go to Settings > Payments.
2. Under Accept payments > Accept Credit Cards > Select a Credit Card Gateway (for testing) Bogus Gateway.
3. Click Save.

Payment Authorization Settings

Usually, the merchant will authorize and capture payment at time of order. In some cases, the merchant may wish to capture funds later.

To set Authorize and Capture:

1. Go to Settings > Payments.
2. Payment authorization settings Select Automatically.
3. Click Save.
