Gather Site Information
This section will outline the steps necessary to obtain all relevant client information regarding their project.
Send Welcome PDF to Client
We have a Welcome to ONELIVE Advantage™ PDF document which you will send to the client. This document gives the client information about what they will expect during the new site development process. It will also give them an overview of the development process and help them to prepare so that we can be as efficient as possible.
Email Welcome to ONELIVE Advantage™ PDF to the primary client contact. Include a short message introducing the attachment:
----
Dear [Name],
Welcome to ONELIVE Advantage™, an amazing program designed to give your online e-commerce the latest capabilities for success and cost savings. We're excited to be your e-commerce partner and we look forward to working with you. Attached is a PDF document that will give you an overview of the process we will use to rapidly bring your new store online. The document will also give you information on what you should be preparing that will help us more efficiently launch your new site. We'll be in touch shortly with additional information to kick-off this process. Thanks again for choosing ONELIVE Advantage™. We're excited to be on your team.

Unless otherwise directed, this welcome email should come from Bret Williams, our CTO.
Client Complete New Site Information Form
Next, we want the client to fill out an online form giving us complete information about their site project. This email should come from the Project Manager assigned to this project.
Email the client:
----
Dear [Name],
Hello, my name is [Your_Name], your Project Manager for your new ONELIVE Advantage™ e-commerce website. I'll be your primary contact as we move through the development of your new site toward final launch. The first step is for us to gather detailed information about your current and planned e-commerce operations. To that end, we have an easy-to-use online form. Please go to http://test-wiki-onelivemedia-com.pantheonsite.io/new-site-information-form/. There's a lot of great questions on this form, and you're free to Save and Continue Later if you need to pause to gather more information. The more complete your answers, the faster and more accurately we can construct your new store. If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact me by email or by calling [Your_Phone_Number].
Thank you,
[Your_Signature]

Once you receive notice that the form has been completed:- Log into the OLM Wiki.
- Go to Forms > Entries.
- Click to open the Client's form entry.
- Click Print.
- Save the print view as a PDF in the Client's DropBox folder ([Client_Name] / [Client_Code] Requirements).
- Attach the saved PDF as a file to the TeamWork Project (you may attach it via a DropBox link). Store/link it under the Files tab of the project.
Client Kick-Off Call
Once the Client's New Site Information Form is completed, email or call the client to schedule a Kick-off call. Invite Bret Williams, CTO, to the call (check his schedule for available times).
Try to schedule the call as a Google Hangout. If the client does not a Gmail account, schedule as an UberConference call. We prefer Hangout in order to have a face-to-face meeting with our clients, but don't press the issue if the client does not have a Gmail account (check for availability on the New Site Information Form submission).
Note: Do NOT mark this task completed until the Kick-off Call has been completed.
Once you have completed all the above tasks, you may mark Gather Site Information task complete.
